CUSTOMIZED TEAM-BUILDING PROGRAMS

What is team-building without a fresh perspective for your team?  These events are extremely non-conventional and are able to be customized into an event that is combined with a meeting, conference, or a themed event.

Team Building events can become stale & boring when you are asked to participate in the same mundane events year after year.  Stratum Events hosts events that are fresh, new, unique, & geared towards those who are looking to host an impressive, professional, & creative event that's not like every other one you've participated in! 

Each of these events allow for a truly unique, "hands-on" experience that lends itself to teach the principals of communication & collaboration through unique building, construction, & cooking experiences that allow everyone to learn the essential building blocks of team spirit!

Other events allow your teams the adventure to seek out and search, thus allowing the teams the opportunity to work in scenarios that provide tours of the cities, interesting questions, interactive conversations, and fun outcomes to your own personalized adventure!

These customized team-builders can be used simply to promote fun, adventure, and the quest for amusement.  These events are a great way to help group members to loosen up, relax, get to know one another, and simple to have a fabulous time doing so.

THE A"MAZING" LABYRINTH

Enjoy the fun, strategy & skill of a great escape while strategically planning how you will escape the other teams, score points, & keep out of site of the enemy while hidden in a 13,000 foot labyrinth with 90 towers, bridges, & ramps up to 20 feet high.  Can you make your way out in enough time without getting caught & by beating the clock? 

Played inside Stratum's arena, the world's largest of its kind, this event is sure to get your team motivated for success!  Want to take your team to the next level with trust, communication, & a meaningful message?  Teams will be confronted with a number of challenges that will require them to carefully search & seize, communicate with signs, & trust in their partnership to win  challenges, earn points, & build camaraderie with in their unit!    A facility wide scavenger hunt will also be included for extra fun! 

BLACK-LIGHT PUTT-PUTT

This is not your everyday Putt-Putt Course!  The participants will team up to design and create their own "glow in the dark" miniature golf hole using unique and original building materials that glow!

This event allows for a great amount of team interaction through each team's ability to create their themed glow in the dark golf hole.  Each team will be provided with the necessary tools & supplies to complete their own themed golf hole & flag while utilizing vision casting, cooperation, collaboration and creative use of resources their team's competition.  You may even consider enhancing your sales meeting or convention using golf holes designed with your company product or meeting/convention theme.  This team building activity can be adjusted to fit any time frame and should be held indoors to create the glowing effect!   We will include challenges like a black light scavenger hunt, or other wacky element that requires the use of a glowing green to putt on as well as individual challenges. The final black light golf competition will take place inside Stratum's black light observation deck or arena for some real fun!  This event will challenge your team's creative abilities, team interaction, and communication, as well as their golfing ability!

HOW THE WEST WAS FUN

This is the best darn Western Celebration your group will ever have!  It's full of cowboy skills, a rodeo that will lasso your feet, audience games and some good old-fashioned group entertainment as they compete in Cowboy & Southwestern Skill Challenges to earn the title of Best of the West and take home the coveted gold medals!  We will coordinate teams through challenges to earn points towards the top prize.  This program is designed to be fun and full of high energy with the added value of Team Competition for all to increase communication and friendships.

CHILI COOKIN' CHALLENGE

Learn about your teammate's tastes and talents in this culinary test of teamwork where teams are asked to participate in a creative, fun, upbeat exercise where they must work together to reach a common goal!  Imagine your group planning and preparing mouthwatering award-winning chili from scratch.  Your group will be asked to develop the recipe, choose the ingredients and begin cooking together to form a recipe and plan of action where they will meet judges who will sample the creations and award points based on the best tasting, the spiciest, and other criteria…some other challenges will be cooked up along the way of course!

PICTURE IT SCAVENGER HUNT

This program is designed to send your group on a scavenger hunt with a digital camera followed by a creative presentation of their findings.  Group will be divided into teams and will compete against one another by following a set of clues that will take them to different locations.  This event can be designed around resort properties, popular venues and locations, company products or meeting themes.  All pictures will be uploaded to a password protected website for the participants to view, download and print, if desired after the event.

PUTT-PUTT CHALLENGE

This is not your everyday Putt-Putt Course!  This event will challenge your team's creative abilities, team interaction, and communication, as well as their golfing ability!  Participants team up to design and create their own miniature golf hole using and all of the supplies needed to create a challenging golf hole.  Teams must use vision casting, cooperation, collaboration and creative use of resources for competition on the most "Creative" hole and the "Monster" hole.  This team building activity can be adjusted to fit any time frame and can be held indoors (space permitting) or outdoors.  We will include some individual challenges such as a Golf Tournament, Test Your Putting Skills, Challenge Chip Shot, and more to keep your team members motivated.

SAUCE IT UP!

A saucy event with good taste!  Your group will be transformed into teams of Italian families from all over Italy and each family will be cooking their secret family recipe for pasta sauce that they will serve in their restaurants for our food critics.  Other activities & challenges will be added along the way because we all know the critics are not only critiquing the food, but the overall ambiance and service of the restaurant as well!

SOUTHWESTERN SHOWDOWN

Spice it up with a Salsa Showdown!  Learn about your teammate's tastes and talents in this culinary test of teamwork as you create a culinary masterpiece that will have everyone savoring the flavor. This is an excellent way to incorporate team building with a creative, fun and upbeat exercise as teams are working together to achieve a common goal while having fun.  Imagine your group planning and preparing award-winning salsa from scratch during a southwest reception that requires that they develop the recipe, choose the ingredients, and cook away! 

A panel of judges will sample and score all creations based on the best tasting, the spiciest and other criteria.

What goes better with chips and salsa than a margarita!  Combine this Margarita Mixer with your Salsa Challenge for larger groups or as a perfect evening event, which incorporates even more flavor as teams plan and prepare a delicious margarita from a variety of ingredients provided, and a few challenges along the way!

Several other meal variations available if your group wants to combine a team builder with a "home-cooked" reception!

TRAVELING TROLLEY TEAM-BUILDER

Imagine hopping aboard the trolley with your own personal host who will distribute items & questions that will help determine the teams.  This will determine the position & challenges that will be given during the next step in the team- building event.  Each team will be given time to answer the team questionnaire as the facilitator begins their introduction & explains what the event will hold for them. Upon arrival at Stratum a Maze Team Builder or Laser Tag Team Builder will continue the event. Upon departure from Stratum, the facilitators will perform a participant involved team debriefing about what they learned about one another, the goals that were achieve, & why they were successful as a team.
