The Family

prestinario-familyThe family is originally from Chicago, but has resided in Phoenix since 1991. Never did they know that fate would lead them to the adventure they call Stratum. The family enjoyed visiting Disney World regularly and Tom (Stratum’s Patriarch) always remembered how everyone walked in with a smile on his or her face, yet left with an even bigger smile. With that memory implanted, the idea of creating Stratum began.

Tom & Candace opened the business on November 26, 1999. All 4 children were involved from day one, whether it meant working a shift after school, in between an internship or doing homework in the office! Today the children operate the business, so you’ll almost always see a family member in the facility giving a tour, scheduling an event, running the front desk, or dropping in to say hello to a party. Their passion for creating an amazing entertainment & event experience along with providing exceptional customer service is the core of the business. The family is excited and proud to be part of the community for over 16 years!

Fun Fact:

Heroes of Hope: When the designers were working on the concept for Stratum, they created a storyline and comic book. After reading the draft of the comic book, Candace (Stratum’s Matriarch) decided that she wanted four of the characters to be named after her children, so Angela Austin, Tommy White, Vinny White, & Stephanie White were created.

The Diner

Tom and Candy wanted to create an environment where families, friends, & groups could gather together to socialize and have an interactive dining experience.
